This is my midterm! We had to create something by using at least 24 "boxes" with different images. For my theme I decided to do an under the sea theme. Because I really miss the summer, and sea animals make me think of the ocean, which makes me think of the summer, and I love it!

Kaleidoscopes :)
We had to create a kaleidoscope for this assignment. I used a picture of a flower and a sunflower and transformed them into about 6-8 pieces each and transformed each one to make it able to fit with the next one. This project was kind of difficult just because it was hard to fit all the "slices" perfectly together so that they look good. Even though it was hard I still really liked the project a lot.

9 Tiles..Self Portrait
This project was about creating a 9 tiled self-portrait with one or two pictures. No two pictures looking alike, but still having unity. I enjoyed this project a lot. And the frame that i chose was a turf field hockey field and field hockey sticks, because field hockey is a big part of my life and I love it! :)

Four Corners
In this project we were assigned to create one images in four different ways. I really liked this project because you could be as creative and abstract as you wanted! I liked doing this type of project a lot :)

Visual Puns!
This project was all about visual puns, and it was fun to try and experiment with different tools in photoshop, though at the same time it was also pretty difficult. This visual pun is Toothpick :)

Marla Abstract
For this assignment we watched a movie called "My Kid Could Paint That", which is about a 4 year old artist who painted these great abstract paintings. My inspiration for this assignment was how nice of a day it was outside when I was given this assignment. The sun is shinning and it is just beautiful outside, and every once in awhile there is a cool breeze, there just to remind you that it is not quite spring yet.
